Danebury Vineyards - Madeleine Angevine 2013 - Case of 6

£72.00
The nose is rich with nectarine and melon, and the start of palate sweet depth of flavour, a mix of fruits. There is mid-freshness, some pink grapefruit, a hint of lime, some tangerine & although fresh at the back, the finish has depth of flavour of sweet, ripe fruit.

Madeleine Angevine is a white wine grape from the Loire Valley in France that is popular in the United Kingdom. The early-ripening grape is a cross between Madeleine Royale and de Malingre grapes a Riesling-type that grows well in cooler climates. Madeleine Angevine makes an attractive fruity wine with a flowery nose, similar to an Alsatian Pinot Blanc. It is crisp and dry, and pairs particularly well with seafoods such as scallops and oysters.
